The push reflects a broader shift in enterprise software, where vendors are trying to move AI from stand-alone analytics into day-to-day operational systems. In supply chain planning, that means quicker scenario modelling, more automation and faster responses to disruption.
Kinaxis said Maestro now includes a no-code development studio that lets users build AI-powered planning agents without advanced programming skills. The company argues that this lowers the technical barrier for deploying automation across planning functions and gives business teams more direct control over workflows.
These planning agents are intended to support tasks such as demand forecasting, inventory optimisation, production scheduling and scenario analysis. By linking data, analytics and execution in one environment, Kinaxis is positioning Maestro as more than a forecasting tool, but as a broader orchestration platform for complex global supply chains.
The company has spent years building out its AI capabilities. Its website says Maestro combines agentic AI with more than four decades of supply chain expertise, and Kinaxis was recognised as a leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Supply Chain Planning Solutions for Discrete and Process Industries.
The latest Nvidia tie-up also fits with a wider industry trend towards practical AI applications. Rather than treating artificial intelligence as an experimental layer, companies are increasingly embedding it into core business processes where speed and accuracy matter most.
Kinaxis has made supply chain orchestration a central theme of its strategy, and the expanded collaboration suggests it sees high-performance computing as a key differentiator as enterprise planning becomes more data-heavy and time-sensitive.
