EcoVadis has struck a partnership with Vertice that will place its sustainability ratings directly inside the AI procurement platform, giving buyers a way to weigh environmental, social and governance performance alongside price, contract terms, benchmark data and commercial risk.

decisions, rather than leaving them as a separate compliance or reporting exercise. EcoVadis said the integration is designed to ensure that sustainability is assessed “right alongside price and commercial terms” whenever a purchasing choice is made.
The move comes as companies face growing pressure to connect procurement more closely with sustainability goals. In the ERM Sustainability Institute’s latest Rate the Raters survey, EcoVadis ranked in the top three for both quality and usefulness among corporates and investors, underlining its position as one of the better-known ESG ratings providers in the market.
Vertice said its procurement intelligence database covers more than 250,000 negotiated contracts, more than $75 billion in global indirect spend and over 2 million price points across more than 32,000 software-as-a-service vendors. By adding EcoVadis’ ratings, the company said its platform can now give customers a broader view of suppliers as they try to balance cost savings with sustainability requirements.
“Partnering with EcoVadis helps us to do that,” Roy Tuvey, Vertice’s founder and chief executive, said in comments shared by the company. He said the platform’s agentic AI orchestration could now combine ESG data with its own pricing, contractual and risk insights to support what he described as more rounded purchasing decisions.
EcoVadis, meanwhile, said the partnership would embed trusted sustainability information directly into the buying process. Annette Gevaert, senior vice-president for alliances and partnerships at EcoVadis, said the collaboration would ensure that ESG impact is considered alongside commercial factors at the moment a decision is made.
The integration is already being used by shared customers, including Capita, the London-listed business process outsourcing and professional services group. Suraj Naik, Capita’s group procurement director and chief procurement officer, said the combination of Vertice and EcoVadis embeds supplier ESG performance into procurement decisions and ensures sustainability is judged together with cost, risk and other commercial considerations.
Neither company disclosed financial terms, pricing or when the integration will be generally available.
The partnership also arrives at a time when Vertice is drawing fresh analyst attention. IDC named the company a leader in its 2026 MarketScape for AI-enabled spend orchestration, while Forrester identified it as a notable vendor in a supplier value management report and G2 ranked it first in procurement orchestration in its summer and autumn 2026 grid reports. Patrick Reymann of IDC said the company’s approach to AI was notable because it was grounded in practical procurement outcomes, and argued that bringing EcoVadis’ verified ratings into the same workflow extends those outcomes into ESG.
