Athena Technology Solutions has announced FabOrchestrator, a new software platform it says is designed to bring agentic artificial intelligence into manufacturing operations, from reporting and support tickets to MES modelling and code generation.
The California-based company described the product as a central layer for factory data, claiming it can turn routine operational tasks into automated workflows. Its core functions include a natural-language reporting tool, an AI suppo...

rt engineer for handling standard tickets, a modelling assistant for manufacturing execution system changes and a back-end agent that can generate code snippets for implementation work.
The launch comes as industrial software vendors increasingly pitch AI tools as a way to reduce manual work in factories and cut pressure on engineering teams. In practice, many manufacturers still struggle with fragmented data, legacy systems and the challenge of proving that AI can work reliably in production environments, particularly where uptime, traceability and quality controls matter.
Athena said FabOrchestrator was built with LLM at Scale.AI, which presents itself as an enterprise agentic AI platform focused on multi-agent orchestration and business automation. The partnership suggests Athena is looking to combine its MES implementation experience with a third-party AI layer rather than building the system alone.
Senthil Ranganathan, Athena’s founder and chief executive, said in the announcement that the product marks “a major advancement” for the MES ecosystem. Jothi, chief agentic AI architect at LLM at Scale.AI, said the collaboration was intended to bring intelligent agents directly into factory workflows.
