within existing workflows, rather than switching between multiple systems. Transport Online said the deal underlines Maersk’s push to embed its digital logistics services more deeply into third-party platforms, while MarketScreener reported that customers will gain access to Maersk’s parcel orchestration tools through ShippyPro’s software.
The agreement fits with Maersk’s broader e-commerce strategy. On its website, the Danish shipping group says its e-commerce logistics network includes more than 70 e-fulfilment centres and offers delivery to 75% of the US population within 24 hours and 95% within 48 hours. Maersk also says its parcel network connects retailers to more than 75 carriers, reflecting an emphasis on multi-carrier flexibility as merchants seek to balance cost, speed and resilience.
For ShippyPro, the partnership adds another global logistics player to a platform already built around carrier integration and shipping automation. The company says the aim is to simplify international fulfilment for online businesses, especially as they expand into new markets and need more adaptable parcel routing and returns handling.
