Nate Fleming, vice-president of product marketing at Inspectorio, told Supply Chain Dive that the platform uses copilots and agent-style tools to surface trends in supplier performance, support compliance checks and make inspection processes more efficient. He said it also automates corrective and preventive action workflows, which can speed up follow-up work when problems are identified.
Inspectorio has been broadening its AI push more widely across the sector. The company says its platform offers a more integrated view of supply chain operations and risk, while its newer generative AI tools are intended to help brands, retailers and factories recommend and manage corrective action more quickly.
Gap is not the first retailer to adopt the software. Dick’s Sporting Goods used Inspectorio technology in 2024 to improve supplier engagement and monitor production risks, while Mango adopted its lab test management tool last year to standardise information and support sourcing decisions.
