Copeland has linked its Oversight360 cargo monitoring software with Blue Yonder Network in a move aimed at giving cold chain operators a clearer picture of both shipment location and product condition in one place.
According to the company, the connection between the two systems is designed to bring together data that has often been handled separately: logistics visibility on the one hand and in-transit product monitoring on the other. By combining those streams, suppliers, par...

tners and logistics teams can see where a shipment is and how it is performing, helping them respond more quickly to spoilage risks, delays and other disruptions.
The integration comes as food loss and waste continue to put pressure on the global supply chain. The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation has said roughly a third of food produced worldwide is lost or wasted at some point before consumption. That reality has sharpened demand from retailers for more frequent, more detailed shipment data, especially in temperature-sensitive categories where a short delay or an unnoticed temperature excursion can lead to significant losses.
Copeland’s Oversight360 platform is built to provide real-time monitoring, alerts and end-to-end shipment visibility across complex transport networks, including land, air and sea. Blue Yonder Network, meanwhile, is intended to connect inventory, orders, shipments and product data across trading partners within a single orchestration layer. The companies say combining those capabilities should support more automated analysis and more informed decision-making across connected supply chains.
Lori Haggart, vice-president for monitoring at Copeland, said the integration was intended to help customers act more proactively, improve freshness and better meet supplier compliance requirements. The company also said the system is already being used with a major US food retailer, with data from Copeland’s GO trackers and Oversight360 feeding into Blue Yonder Network to support inbound shipment performance and on-time, in-full delivery targets.
Copeland, which has long positioned itself in refrigeration and cold chain technology, is increasingly emphasising digital visibility alongside its hardware and monitoring portfolio. The latest integration reflects a broader industry shift towards shared data environments, where operational teams and trading partners are expected to collaborate more closely and respond faster when conditions change.
