e one of the more labour-intensive parts of air cargo sales, where recurring space commitments are often managed through spreadsheets, attachments and manual follow-up between airlines and forwarders. Under the new setup, forwarders can submit a single allotment file across participating carriers, rather than repeating the same booking steps with each airline.
CargoAi says the integration also gives CMA CGM Air Cargo and its partners better visibility over how capacity is being used. Through CargoMART’s Strategic Hub, the company can monitor allocation performance, utilisation levels and pricing, creating a shared data environment for managing recurring commitments more efficiently.
The development reflects a broader push across air freight to reduce administrative handling and improve transparency in booking flows. CargoMART itself is presented by CargoAi as an end-to-end digital tool for rates, quotes, bookings, tracking and workflow automation, with live e-booking and tracking features across a wide airline network. In that context, the CMA CGM Air Cargo agreement looks less like a stand-alone technology rollout and more like another step towards standardising recurring cargo bookings across the industry.
CargoAi has been steadily expanding the reach of its platform as airlines and forwarders look for systems that can cut manual work while improving data quality. By bringing allotment management into a digital booking environment, the company and CMA CGM Air Cargo are betting that routine capacity agreements can be handled with less friction and greater consistency than in the traditional email-based model.
