The companies say the initiative will also examine how artificial intelligence and machine learning could be applied across AD Ports Group’s logistics, warehousing and digital trade systems. The aim is to improve efficiency in a sector where speed, traceability and access to working capital are critical to keeping goods moving across borders.
Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, the managing director and group chief executive of AD Ports Group, said the partnership reflects the company’s push to support more connected trade and to reinforce Abu Dhabi’s role as a destination for trade and investment. Rishabh Jain, president of Krivia Holdings Limited, said the group sees room for a scalable, technology-led ecosystem that tackles gaps in warehousing, digital infrastructure and access to funding. Ali Rashed Alrashdi, chief executive of IRH, said the collaboration is intended to address supplier financing constraints and improve trade efficiency for electronics traders.
According to the companies, the global mobile and electronics trading market generates more than $36 billion annually. Over three years, the project could facilitate more than $12 billion in trade, support imports of about 64 million devices into Abu Dhabi and help establish around 650 new companies within KEZAD Group.
The deal adds to Abu Dhabi’s broader effort to deepen its role in global logistics and commercial flows, with AD Ports Group continuing to position its ports, economic zones and digital services as part of a wider trade ecosystem.
