SAP Concur and American Express Global Business Travel have expanded their joint Complete platform with new tools aimed at giving corporate travel managers tighter control over spending, helping travellers recover more easily from disruption and surfacing supplier offers at the moment of booking.
A new leakage reporting dashboard is now available to early adopters, giving managers a fuller view of travel spend, including bookings made outside the managed programme. The dashboar...

d breaks results down by business unit, travel category, vendor and traveller, allowing teams to spot where policy exceptions are most common. Charlie Sultan, president of Concur Travel, said the combined data from Concur and Amex GBT creates greater drill-down capability for managers, helping them identify which suppliers or travellers are most likely to be booking outside policy.
The point, Sultan said, is to improve visibility, compliance and overall programme performance.
Amex GBT chief product and strategy officer Evan Konwiser said the disruption management update is designed to bring more of the recovery process into the Complete app itself. Travellers can receive alerts when flights are delayed or cancelled, or open the app themselves after hearing about a problem elsewhere and compare alternatives without switching between multiple sites or waiting on hold with an airline. A real-time waiver function is included, and rebookings are meant to remain within policy. When the app cannot find a suitable option, it can pass the case to a travel counsellor along with the relevant context.
The new self-service disruption tools are available now to early adopters and are due for broader release in the first quarter of 2027.
The third addition is a point-of-sale offers capability, which presents supplier perks in the context of a traveller’s policy and personal value. According to Konwiser, this can include loyalty benefits tied to the traveller, negotiated programme discounts and targeted supplier promotions intended to drive more bookings. He said that making those offers visible at the moment of decision helps bring more modern retail-style shopping into business travel.
Those supplier offers in Perks will be broadly available in August, while the associated benefits will reach early adopters in August and wider users in the fourth quarter. Konwiser also said Amex GBT plans to extend the same inclusion engine to Egencia after the Complete integration.
Complete itself is positioned by the two companies as an AI-driven travel, service and expense platform designed to connect booking, servicing and financial control in one system. SAP’s help documentation for the product sets out administration and reporting tools for corporate users, underlining the platform’s focus on centralised management as well as traveller convenience.
