ReposiTrak has teamed up with SPAR Group to launch Touchless Retail, a new in-store merchandising service aimed at helping suppliers improve shelf availability and retail execution at a lower, fixed cost.

ReposiTrak said the service is typically priced at about half the cost of conventional merchandising programmes. Randy Fields, the company’s chairman and chief executive, said the offer was designed to address a familiar problem in retail: products may reach stores but still fail to sell if they are not on the shelf. William Linnane, chief executive of SPAR Group, said the partnership brings together ReposiTrak’s data capabilities and SPAR’s merchandising workforce to create a more consistent approach to execution.
The service covers a range of in-store tasks, including product placement, shelf replenishment, display maintenance and rotation of stock. ReposiTrak said the system is intended to help reduce out-of-stocks, improve shelf presentation and support suppliers that manage merchandise across large numbers of outlets.
Importantly, the companies said suppliers do not need to use ReposiTrak’s Scan-Based Trading system to take advantage of Touchless Retail. That means brands can adopt the merchandising and ordering service without changing their existing transaction arrangements with retailers. For those already using ReposiTrak’s wider supply chain tools, the new offer can add another layer of visibility between store-level demand and replenishment.
The launch also reflects broader pressure on retailers and suppliers to control labour costs while keeping shelves full. SPAR described the partnership as a way to use its nationwide merchandising workforce alongside ReposiTrak’s inventory intelligence, giving retailers a scalable option for maintaining availability without adding strain to store staff.
ReposiTrak, listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker TRAK, operates a platform focused on traceability, compliance and supply chain management. SPAR Group, quoted on the OTCQB market, provides merchandising, resets, remodels, product launches and shelf-stocking services for consumer goods companies and retailers.
