The partnership has already been visible on the pitch. Adidas produced a special jersey for the 2026 Six Nations to mark the 120th anniversary of the first England v France match, underlining the brand’s intention to make the relationship more than a standard commercial arrangement.

Following the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France, the federation faced serious economic pressure, but recent contract renewals, new commercial agreements and stronger ticketing income have helped ease the strain.
