intended to reduce the time procurement teams spend checking eligibility, compliance and supporting paperwork, while also creating an audit trail that can withstand scrutiny from regulators and information requests.
The launch comes against a backdrop in which digital procurement portals have made it easier to submit bids, but have not removed the labour-intensive work of examining them. Public sector undertakings and government departments still face the challenge of reading hundreds of pages across each submission, often in mixed formats and languages, and then translating that material into a defensible decision.
Valiance says Tender Intelligence uses its own multimodal AI technology to process scanned files, tables, structured forms and multilingual content. The company adds that the platform is built on India-hosted open-source models and is designed to keep data within the country, with deployment options that include MeitY-approved data centres, air-gapped environments, on-premises systems and cloud infrastructure.
The company claims the product is already operating in production at one of India’s largest oil-sector public sector undertakings. In a separate case study on its website, Valiance says it developed an AI-powered tender evaluation platform for a major oil and gas PSU, using automated parsing, rule-based filters and domain-specific prompts to extract eligibility criteria, bid values and other key terms from unstructured tender documents.
Valiance says the live deployments have processed more than 16,000 bids and, in one instance, handled a tender with more than 500 bidders. The company says the system has achieved 98.7% accuracy, broadened bid coverage to all submissions rather than a manual sample, and cut evaluation time from weeks to less than a day.
Vikas Kamra, chief executive of Valiance Solutions, said in the company’s announcement that procurement was never intended to be managed manually at the scale now seen across India’s public sector, and argued that the new platform is meant to give officials faster evaluations without weakening compliance.
The platform is being sold on a per-tender subscription basis, which Valiance says is meant to make it usable for smaller departments as well as large enterprises. The company positions the product as part of a wider push towards what it describes as AI-native procurement, where document handling, evaluation and reporting are automated while officers retain oversight of the final decision-making process.
Valiance, which describes itself as a deep-tech AI company focused on mission-critical use cases for government and enterprise clients, says the new offering is intended to address one of the most persistent bottlenecks in public procurement: the gap between digitised submission and genuinely automated evaluation.
