Pem-Air has chosen Ramco Aviation Software to underpin its engine maintenance, repair and overhaul operations as the business broadens its work on larger and newer powerplants.

The software is intended to give Pem-Air a single integrated system spanning maintenance planning, engine repair, supply chain, quality and compliance, engineering and finance. Ramco said this would link the full lifecycle of an engine shop visit, from initial scoping through to completion.
The deployment also includes Ramco Anywhere mobile applications, which will give technicians digital task cards and electronic sign-offs as Pem-Air moves further towards paperless processes. According to the companies, the system will cover contracting and configuration management, work scoping, production planning, marshalling and kitting, technical publications, and workforce optimisation.
Ramco said the project will also bring in artificial intelligence tools. Its Service Bulletin Agent is designed to draw on Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives when creating Engineering Orders, while generative AI assistants will help users review standard reports and monitor live operational status. The software will also suggest corrective actions for maintenance discrepancies by drawing on previous resolutions, with the aim of speeding up decisions and improving consistency.
Pem-Air, which describes itself as an engine MRO and accessory repair provider, said the partnership supports its push to digitise operations and scale for demand from newer aircraft platforms. Ramco’s own product material says its engine MRO software is built to support end-to-end maintenance processes across line, component, engine and heavy-maintenance work, as well as OEM aftermarket services.
