tandardised pricing, consolidated ordering and clearer oversight of procurement activity across the wider network.
G6 Hospitality said the platform is intended to reduce the time owners spend juggling multiple vendors while improving cost control and operational consistency. GlobeNewswire reported that the marketplace is aimed at simplifying supply chain operations for franchise operators, while Hotel Management said it brings franchisees and verified suppliers into one scalable B2B ecosystem.
The move reflects a broader shift in hospitality towards digitised procurement, as hotel groups look for better demand planning, spend visibility and supplier coordination. Asian Hospitality reported that the platform is also meant to reduce operational friction and support more consistent quality across properties, particularly in a franchise system where purchasing practices can vary widely.
StoreHippo said the marketplace runs on cloud-native, API-first infrastructure and is designed to handle large transaction volumes and multiple vendors. The company has positioned the project as part of G6 Hospitality’s wider digital transformation push, with enterprise ecommerce increasingly used in hospitality to improve efficiency and owner experience.
G6 Hospitality, which owns the Motel 6 and Studio 6 brands, is among a growing number of hotel operators turning to technology-led procurement tools as they seek tighter control over costs, supplier relationships and operational performance.
