AerFin and Lufthansa Technik have entered into a new multi-platform component agreement that is designed to widen access to serviceable parts and ease pressure on aircraft material supply chains.
The arrangement covers Airbus A320ceo, A320neo and A330 aircraft, alongside Boeing 737NG, 737 MAX and 777 platforms. It will give Lufthansa Technik access to AerFin’s serviceable material pool, supporting component availability across a mix of narrow-body and wide-body fleets.

AerFin has been expanding its partnerships in recent months. In April 2026, it said it had strengthened a long-standing relationship with AFI KLM E&M’s Americas arm, Barfield, through a three-year component repair and overhaul agreement covering several aircraft families, including the A320, A330 and Boeing types. The company says such agreements are intended to support consistent delivery and maximise asset value while maintaining dependable material flows.
Lufthansa Technik has also been broadening its own cooperation network. In November 2025, it deepened ties with Etihad Airways through a strategic MRO partnership spanning component support, landing gear, engineering and digital services. That agreement included direct access to Lufthansa Technik’s spare parts pool for Etihad’s A320 family, underlining the growing importance of pooled inventory and flexible support models in the aftermarket.
The latest AerFin deal fits into that wider industry shift. AerFin markets itself as a supplier of service level agreements and parts support across more than 55 aircraft types, with inventory and logistical capabilities aimed at AOG demands. For Lufthansa Technik, the partnership adds another layer of resilience at a time when operators are still navigating supply constraints and seeking quicker, more reliable access to rotable components.
