d subsidiary, TVS Packaging Solutions. The partners said the initial focus will be India, although they plan to consider other geographies later.
The collaboration is designed to cover the full production and aftermarket lifecycle, including production support, spare parts distribution, inventory optimisation, defence-grade logistics and aftermarket and MRO support. TVS Supply Chain Solutions said it would draw on its defence and utilities experience in the UK, together with its presence in India and wider operations across Asia-Pacific. ALA Group is bringing aerospace and defence expertise, technology platforms and established relationships with international OEMs and operators in Europe, the US and the UK.
The companies have framed the venture as a response to India’s expanding aerospace and defence sector, which has been attracting increased attention from logistics providers as manufacturers and suppliers look for more specialised support. Market reports cited by Indian business publications have put the opportunity at about $28 billion, with defence offset programmes singled out as an early area of focus.
Financial Express reported that the partners expect the venture to generate more than ₹2,000 crore in cumulative revenue by 2031. TVS Supply Chain Solutions’ shares rose after the announcement, reflecting investor interest in the company’s move into a higher-margin segment.
The deal also marks a broader push by TVS Supply Chain Solutions to deepen its industrial and defence footprint, while giving ALA Group a route into one of the world’s most closely watched aerospace and defence supply chains.
