software layer, Flo AI is pitched as a connected workflow that takes a request from intake through approvals, vendor management, contract review and accounts payable.
At the centre of the system are three coordinated agents. Flo Procure is responsible for purchase requests and approved purchase orders. Flo Contracts reviews agreements, identifies unusual clauses and tracks renewal dates. Flo AP matches invoices with purchase orders and contracts, handles exceptions and processes payments. Spendflo says the agents share context across each stage so that the process can move more smoothly from one step to the next.
According to the company, the platform is informed by more than $3.2 billion in processed spend, which it says helps Flo AI categorise purchases and spot exceptions. Spendflo added that the system can plug into existing ERP, finance and contract tools, rather than requiring customers to replace them.
Chief executive Siddharth Sridharan said the target customers are not seeking additional software to manage, but a procurement function that can operate with less manual effort. The company is also promoting the idea of a new “procurement engineer” role, in which teams configure AI agents, define policy and design workflows, while shifting their attention towards negotiation and vendor strategy.
Spendflo says Flo AI is available now for companies with annual revenue between $50 million and $1 billion.
