Embraer has used its annual suppliers conference in São José dos Campos to underline how dependent its recent momentum has been on a tighter, better coordinated supply chain, as the Brazilian aircraft maker moves through a period of strong demand and record financial results.

efficiency and a strong 2025. Roberto Chaves, Embraer’s executive vice-president for global procurement and supply, said the gathering was particularly important at a time when the business is dealing with elevated demand and needs its suppliers closely aligned with its production plans.
The honoured companies now join Embraer’s Supplier Advisory Council, or ESAC, a forum in which suppliers and senior executives discuss market trends and business opportunities. Embraer says the council is intended to deepen cooperation across a supply network that stretches across more than 60 countries.
Among the winners were SAP of Germany in indirect procurement, Brazil’s GLOBO USINAGEM in subcontracting and Pratt & Whitney in collaboration. Other suppliers were also singled out for their contribution to the company’s performance, while Diehl Aviation said separately that it had received Embraer’s best suppliers award in the interiors category for the third time since 2021.
The awards were presented under the theme “Moving Forward as One”, a message that reflects Embraer’s effort to treat its operations and supplier base as a single integrated value chain rather than a series of disconnected contracts. That approach has taken on added importance as the company builds on a strong order book and a record year.
Embraer reported its highest-ever backlog at the end of the second quarter of 2025, and later said full-year 2025 revenue rose to its highest annual level, with defence, security and executive aviation among the fastest-growing businesses. The company has also delivered more than 9,000 aircraft since 1969, cementing its position as one of Brazil’s most important exporters of high-value manufactured goods.
For Embraer, the supplier awards are more than a ceremonial gesture. They signal a wider industrial strategy: preserving execution, protecting quality and ensuring that, as demand strengthens, the company’s network of partners grows with it.
