TVS Supply Chain Solutions partners with Sankyu Inc to expand engineering-led logistics across Asia and beyond

TVS Supply Chain Solutions has entered into a strategic memorandum of understanding with Japan’s Sankyu Inc, in a move that could deepen its push into engineering-led logistics services and broaden its reach among industrial customers.

The two companies said they expect the collaboration to cover logistics, warehousing, transportation, engineering services, maintenance and on-site industrial support. The initial focus will be India, where more than 1,400 Japanese companies operate across manufacturing and industrial sectors, creating what both sides view as a sizeable opportunity for integrated service offerings.

TVS Supply Chain Solutions chairman R. Dinesh said the tie-up would strengthen the group’s capabilities and help it offer more comprehensive solutions to customers. Sankyu president and chief executive Kimihiro Nakamura said the alliance reflected strategic alignment between the two businesses and a shared interest in long-term growth and sustainable industrial development.

To oversee the partnership, the companies will set up a joint steering committee made up of representatives from both sides. The committee will identify opportunities, steer strategy and support the development of integrated offerings.

Over time, the companies plan to look beyond India into markets across Asia, the Middle East and Africa, while also exploring other regions where both already have a presence.
