Simfoni has unveiled Vitesse, a tail-spend management platform it says is designed to give large enterprises a single master vendor for thousands of low-value purchases that typically sit outside normal procurement oversight.
According to the company, the problem it is targeting is familiar to many finance and procurement teams: small transactions scattered across a wide supplier base, difficult to monitor and costly to process. Simfoni says Vitesse is intended to bring those p...

urchases into one controlled channel, with vendor vetting, onboarding, invoicing and payment handled through the platform rather than by internal teams.
The company says the model begins with one supplier relationship for the customer, while employees still get access to the goods and services they need. Before payment is made, Vitesse checks vendor and purchase information, and Simfoni says the platform includes configurable controls, e-invoicing checks and sanctions screening. It also says the system can reduce supplier onboarding from weeks to between one and three business days.
Finance teams make a single payment to Vitesse, which then manages the downstream payments, taxes, tariffs and reconciliation, according to the company. Simfoni says this reduces accounts payable workload by an average of 70 per cent and creates an audit trail for every transaction. It also says purchases are automatically categorised across more than 200 procurement groups, giving buyers a clearer view of where money is going and whether preferred suppliers could be used instead.
“Acting on thousands of small transactions is the hard part. Vitesse is built to act. One vendor, one invoice, every purchase vetted before it is paid, and a clear path to expand coverage as the program matures,” said Gonzague de Thieulloy, managing director at Simfoni.
The company says customers can then extend the platform in stages without a fresh implementation. For repeat purchases, it offers catalogues of pre-approved vendors. For items that need sourcing, it says an AI-guided tool can help users define requirements and introduce competition while keeping the transaction inside the same controlled process. For harder-to-find items, Simfoni says its buying team can step in to source quotes and manage suppliers directly.
Tail spend has long been a weak spot for procurement leaders, because the savings available from individual purchases are small, yet the administrative burden is high. Simfoni is positioning Vitesse as a way to convert that fragmented activity into a managed programme, while widening visibility and control over time.
The platform forms part of Simfoni’s broader spend-management offering, which also includes analytics and e-sourcing tools.
