The award comes as Qlik is using its partner awards to highlight projects that move beyond experimentation with AI and analytics into practical business use. In announcing its annual partner winners, Qlik said the programme recognises partners that help customers turn data into measurable outcomes rather than treating analytics as a reporting layer alone.
For AgProcure, the shift was about taking a process that had grown over time around specialist knowledge and manual steps and putting it into a more controlled and scalable environment. Grant Bailey, the company’s owner and general manager, said the new platform centralises business logic that had previously been spread across complex manual workflows and multiple reporting stages.
He said the change allows the company’s specialists to spend less time on repetitive processing and more time investigating anomalies, discrepancies and edge cases. Human review remains part of the model, particularly when a transaction match needs further validation or context.
According to AgProcure, the platform applies its existing business rules through governed analytics processes to improve consistency in transaction analysis and reporting. It is also designed to identify pricing variances, retailer margins and purchasing trends through a connected workflow that records decisions as issues are checked and resolved.
That approach appears to reflect a broader industry shift towards cloud-based analytics platforms that support collaboration rather than simply display results. Notitia, which worked with AgProcure on the project, said the award recognised how data, analytics, automation and human oversight had been brought together in one operational system. The firm is a technology partner of Inphinity, whose tools extend Qlik’s environment with review and workflow capabilities.
Qlik’s Field CTO for Analytics and AI, Charlie Farah, said the project showed how analytics can be embedded into day-to-day operations and decision-making. He also noted that AgProcure’s planned use of natural-language capabilities points to how organisations are beginning to explore AI while still maintaining access controls and human supervision.
For AgProcure, the platform is intended not only to improve current reporting but to create a base for future services as customer requirements evolve. Bailey said the company wanted a foundation that could support more advanced reporting while keeping specialist validation at the centre of its work.
