y over the progress of tasks moving between departments.
The latest phase of the tie-up is built around several Wipro offerings, including SmartProcure, Telco Autonomous Networks and Cyber Transform. Wipro says SmartProcure is designed to tighten intake, approvals and delivery in procurement, while Telco Autonomous Networks brings AI-driven orchestration to telecom operations. Cyber Transform is aimed at speeding vulnerability management, incident response and governance in security operations.
The move reflects a wider shift in the technology services industry, where providers are increasingly embedding AI into everyday workflows rather than offering it as a separate layer for chat or analysis. For large enterprises, the attraction lies in reducing delays, improving audit trails and bringing more control to processes that often cross multiple teams and systems.
According to Wipro, the partnership is also meant to give clients a single front door for submitting and tracking requests across business functions, with policy checks, governance and auditability built into the process. That focus matters especially in procurement and cyber security, where accountability and records are closely scrutinised.
Amit Zavery, ServiceNow’s president, chief operating officer and chief product officer, said the agreement was about moving beyond isolated AI tools. He said connected and governed AI inside secure workflows can help turn ideas into measurable outcomes.
Wipro described the partnership as part of a broader strategy to position Wipro Intelligence as a unifying layer across its AI products and services. Malay Joshi, chief executive of Americas 1 Strategic Market Unit at Wipro, said many companies are no longer struggling with interest in AI, but with deployment at scale. He said the expanded arrangement was intended to help customers translate business priorities into sector-specific AI systems with the right controls in place.
The announcement also had a market impact. According to Business Standard, Wipro shares rose in Mumbai after the update, reflecting investor interest in the company’s push to monetise AI-led services.
Wipro, which employs more than 240,000 people and serves clients in 65 countries, has been stepping up its emphasis on AI-linked consulting and implementation as customers look to automate more internal work without losing oversight of how those systems operate.
