A significant recent development within this partnership is the expansion of initiatives aimed at decarbonising adhesive production through the introduction of low-carbon feedstocks and renewable electricity. This ambitious move seeks to reduce the carbon footprint of Henkel’s hot melt adhesives by 20 to 40%, further supporting Henkel’s climate targets that include a 30% reduction in Scope 3 emissions by 2030 and a 90% reduction by 2045.
